As Superintendent, I want to personally thank you for trusting us with your most precious possession...your child.  We do not take this trust lightly and we will do our very best to prepare your child to be college and career ready.  

     The staff and community of the Corning School District are committed to the academic success and personal growth of all students. Our mission is to prepare them to be lifelong learners and responsible, productive citizens through effective teaching in a safe, nurturing environment.

The Corning Schools Gifted and Talented Program is based on the idea that every student should be provided with learning experiences best suited to his/her abilities.  Recognizing that gifted and talented students have abilities and needs different from those of other students, we believe a qualitatively differentiated curriculum should be provided.
