Attention parents and guardians of bus riders Corning School District will run normal bus routes in the morning 2/5. Please be aware that not all roads are passable with a large bus. Any concerns or questions.please call your students principal.

Attention bus parents and students We will be running Snow/Inclement weather bus routes tomorrow. Wednesday Feb 4th. Pickup and drop off locations will be the same as they were today. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Attention Bus Riders Just a reminder the buses will only be running snow routes this afternoon. Drivers will only be going to their designated stop. Thank you

Attention Changes to snow routes- The elephant bus stop in Reyno will be at the Old Reyno Freewill Baptist church instead of the community center. The alligator bus stop will be the visitor center instead of Ballard’s. The cat bus will stop at Datto City Hall instead of the post office.

School Resumes Tuesday Corning Schools will be open and on a normal schedule tomorrow, Tuesday Feb. 3. Buses will run snow routes only and will not travel on roads that remain ice-covered. If you are unable to get your child to a bus stop or school due to ice, please call your child’s principal’s office to notify them. While most of our campuses are clear, some areas around town and on school grounds remain slick. Please use extreme caution whether you are driving or walking. We want to send a special thank you to the staff and volunteers who spent Monday helping us remove ice from our parking lots and sidewalks. Your hard work is the reason we will be able to safely greet our students tomorrow morning. We truly appreciate you!

Due to icy conditions, school will be closed Monday.Despite our best efforts to clear parking lots and roads around campus, surfaces remain very slick and unsafe for walking. In addition, many of our snow bus routes are still icy. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed. CHS Late Start for 11th & 12th Grade Tuesday, 13 January
CHS and CMS will be conducting ATLAS Interim Testing from Friday, 9 January - Friday, 16
January. CHS will begin their testing on Friday, 9 January, and CMS will begin their testing on
Tuesday, 13 January. It is on this day, 13 January, that we will be testing all students from
grades 5-10; the most students testing at one time during the ATLAS Interim Testing period.
Due to this, and the ongoing constructional changes to our wireless network, we have some
valid concerns about internet bandwidth on 13 January. Therefore, we have decided to conduct
a late start for all 11th and 12th grade students so that we can ensure we have the proper
bandwidth for testing. 11th and 12th grade students will be administratively excused for their 1st
and 2nd period classes, and will report to their 3rd period class beginning at 10:04 a.m. 11th
and 12th grade students who ride a bus or will be inconvenienced by this late start are free to
come to campus at the start of the school day

We are happy to announce that we are ready to welcome students back! All campuses will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow, January 7, 2025. Corning Bobcats: Attention parents of bus riders: Due to changes in our schedule the bus routes will be 10-20 minutes earlier at the bus stop this afternoon. Jan/6/2026

Due to a major water leak, Corning Middle School and Corning High School will be closing for the day, Tuesday, January 6. Please see the following details regarding transportation and schedules: ·         Corning Middle & High School:CLOSED for the remainder of the day. ·         Park Elementary: REMAINING OPEN. Classes and schedules will proceed as usual. ·         CMS & CHS Bus Students: Buses will depart from the schools at approximately 9:00 AM to bring students home. ·         Park Elementary Bus Students:Buses will run their normal afternoon routes at the regular time. We realize this sudden change may create a hardship for our families, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Our maintenance teams are working hard to resolve the issue. Questions? If you have specific questions regarding your student, please contact your child’s principal’s office directly. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
