Friday Night Lights Event
We regret to inform you that due to challenges including limited resources and the short time available for proper preparation, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming Friday Night Lights Event scheduled for Friday, October 11. We believe we would not be able to provide the high quality experience you deserve. Rather than compromise the event, we feel it is best to postpone until we organize to our usual standards.
We understand this may be disappointing and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We will explore options to reschedule the event in the spring and will provide further updates when the event is rescheduled.

Attention the Corning Sr High football game to be played Friday 9-6-24 vs Rector, has been canceled. The Jr B, and Jr High games will be played. And will start at 6pm at CHS.
The Deer bus will be running a little late this morning. Friday the 23rd.

Parents and Guardians: CSD is seeking your input on a waiver request to DESE to start the 24-25 school year before August 19. Currently the law states that schools cannot begin the school year before the week in which August 19 falls. As is the case next year, August 19 falls later than usual which severely limits the number of student instructional days in the fall semester. CSD will hold public informational meetings concerning the millage increase request on the March ballot. The public is encouraged to attend. Feb. 8th 6pm at CHS. Feb 20 6pm at the Reyno Community Center. Feb 26th 6pm at CHS. And Feb. 29th 6pm at Knobel Community Center.
