After consultation with county officials regarding deteriorating road conditions and the forecast of severe weather this afternoon, Corning Schools will dismiss at 1:30 PM today to allow everyone to travel home before the anticipated worsening conditions impact our area. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at 1:30 PM. Busses will run limited routes this afternoon. We request that a parent or responsible adult be present at the bus stop or home to receive your student. Our top priority is the safety of our students and staff. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please stay safe and monitor local weather updates.
Attention parents of bus riders: Due to rising waters, the buses may not be able to run certain routes in the morning. If the bus does not come by your house please call your child’s school and let them know. We do apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
The latest forecast shows severe storms hitting our area around 5 PM. To prioritize safety, especially for our student drivers & buses, we're dismissing school early today at 2:30 PM. Please plan accordingly. Stay safe & weather aware!
