District Parent Meeting Reminder: We will have an organizational meeting tonight for the new CSD-Parent group. This group is being organized for parents and school staff to work together to meet the social-emotional needs of our students. The meeting will be held at 6:00 at the Community Center. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Corning Bobcats: Attention parents of bus riders: Due to rising waters, the buses may not be able to run certain routes in the morning. If the bus does not come by your house please call your child’s school and let them know. We do apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Corning School District will be in session tomorrow, January 31.

The Sr. High Girls, Jr. High Girls, and 7th Grade Girls Basketball games @ Rector scheduled for tomorrow night have been postponed. They will now be played on Wednesday, February 5th @ Rector with a 5:00 p.m. start time for the 7th Grade Girls game.

Due to a significant increase in staff and student illness, all Corning Schools will be closed tomorrow, January 30, 2025. We will resume regularly scheduled classes on Friday, Jan 31. If those plans change we will notify you as soon as possible.

Corning School District- Parent Involvement Meeting February 6 at 6:00 p.m.

We will be running regular bus routes tomorrow, Jan 14. However due to the snow and mud, there could be some roads that our buses will not be able to go down. If the bus does not come by your house please call your child’s school and let them know. Drivers will report stops they unable to make.

Reminder for parents and guardians of bus riders. Students will only be picked up at the collective points on each route. And students will only be dropped of at these locations in the afternoon. Please make arrangements for transportation to and from these locations. In the morning all buses will leave the school at 7am to go to their collective points And in the afternoon they will leave school at 3:20pm and go only to their collective points. attached is the locations for each route, or follow this link https://5il.co/34vt1

Corning Schools will be in session tomorrow Jan. 13th. Buses will run snow routes only. Friday Night Lights Event We regret to inform you that due to challenges including limited resources and the short time available for proper preparation, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming Friday Night Lights Event scheduled for Friday, October 11. We believe we would not be able to provide the high quality experience you deserve. Rather than compromise the event, we feel it is best to postpone until we organize to our usual standards. We understand this may be disappointing and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We will explore options to reschedule the event in the spring and will provide further updates when the event is rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
